Lyceum Loop LLC ("Lyceum Loop," "we," "us," or "our") operates mobile applications for school districts. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our apps and services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use a Lyceum Loop school app:

• Account information — When staff members sign in using Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. This is used solely to authenticate your identity and grant access to the staff portal.
• Device token — When you enable push notifications, we store a device token that allows us to send notifications to your device. This token is not linked to personally identifiable information.
• Usage data — We may collect anonymous usage information to improve app performance. This data does not identify individual users.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate staff members and provide access to the staff portal
• Deliver push notifications from your school to your device
• Maintain and improve app performance and reliability
• Communicate with school administrators regarding their app

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Google Sign-In

Our staff portal uses Google Sign-In for authentication. When you sign in with Google, we receive limited profile information as described above. Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We only accept sign-ins from email addresses belonging to the school district's authorized domain.

4. Push Notifications

If you choose to enable push notifications, your device token is stored securely in our Firebase database. This token is used only to deliver school announcements and alerts to your device. You may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

5. Children's Privacy

Our apps are designed for use by parents, guardians, and school staff. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The staff portal is restricted to authorized school email addresses only. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

6. Data Storage and Security

We use Google Firebase to store app data, including announcements and device tokens. Firebase provides industry-standard security including encryption in transit and at rest. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Third-Party Services

Our apps may contain links to third-party websites and services, including Google Calendar, YouTube, school websites, and Google Forms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

8. Data Retention

We retain device tokens and staff authentication data for as long as the school maintains an active agreement with Lyceum Loop. Announcement data is managed by school administrators and may be deleted at any time. Upon termination of a school's agreement, their data is removed from our systems within 30 days.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings
• Sign out of the staff portal at any time within the app

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify school administrators of any significant changes. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
